Their daughter Chaje Sarah ANSPACH (b. 1779 Lissa, d. 29 Aug. 1845 Berlin) married Herrmann SELDIS. Two birthdates are given for Herrmann SELDIS. According to the Stammbaum der Family SELDIS, published by Dr. Rudolph SELDIS printed in Berlin, Jan 1905, Herrmann was born 29 Sep. 1778 Lissa. According to DIE JUDENBüRGERBüCHER DER STADT BERLIN 1809-1851 (VON Jacob Jacobsen Berlin 1962, Verlag Walter de Gruyter & Co., Genthinerstrasse 13, 10785 Berlin, page 1836, Nr.1563), Herrmann SELDIS, Seidenhändler en gros is born on 12 Oct.1777 in Lissa. Guenther SELDIS had some correspondence with the Polish Museum in Lissa and Posen. Neither Museum was able to clarify the birthday. Guenther SELDIS put both dates with some comments in the new Tree of the Family SELDIS.

Herrmann SELDIS died 10 Feb. 1838 Berlin.

Herrmann and Chaje Sarah had seven children.

• Minna SELDIS (b. 15 May 1808 Lissa, d. 9 Aug. 1875 Hannover). (Her date of death was confirmed by Dr. SCHULZE, Stadtarchiv Hannover. The date is on the gravestone on the Cemetery Hannover An der Strangriede, Grave No. Reihe 21 Grab 25 and it is written in the Sterberegister of the Synagoge Hannover.) Minna married Salo OPPLER (b. 15 Feb. 1804 Rosenberg or Breslau according to the Stammbaum der Family SELDIS, d. 5 Oct. 1874 Breslau).
  • Edwin OPPLER (b. 18 June 1831 Oels, d. 6 Sep. 1880 Hanover) married Ella COHEN (b. 7 Mar. 1843 Hanover, d. 19 Feb. 1912 Munich)
