A BIG SUNDAY for the NJDC

There’s no Eagles game this week, so come out to support the NJDC!  There are just over 24 DAYS until the election, IT’S YOUR TIME to make a difference with Jewish voters.

This Sunday, we have one of our local supporters Dan Loeb in a debate on Sunday morning.  We urge you to come straight from Dan’s debate to our first CANVASSING effort, when we talk to Jewish voters in Northeast Philadelphia!

DEBATE:

Bush vs. Kerry: What’s Good for the Jews?

A Panel Discussion with Dr. Dan Loeb (defending Kerry) and. Len Feldman, Esq. (defending Bush) on Issues Impacting the Jewish Community in the Presidential Election. Debate moderated by Rabbi Lisa Malik. Audience members will have an opportunity to submit questions.

Place: B’nai Aaron, 560 Mill Road, Havertown, Pennsylvania.

9:00 am - morning services at the synagogue

10:00 am – Debate/Men’s Club Breakfast

Cost: $10 in advance / $12 at the door.

 

CANVASSING!

Meet starting at 11 a.m. outside George Washington High School

The NJDC will speak with registered Jewish voters in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday.  Starting at 11 a.m., we’ll have NJDC staff training and preparing volunteers and then sending you out with NJDC materials to talk with voters!

 Wednesday, October 13th, 7:30-9 p.m. at the Kaiserman JCC -- the NJDC will take part in a debate sponsored by the Kaiserman, Klein, and Gershman JCC's on Judaic Values in the Presidential Election, moderated by Jane Eisner of the Philadelphia Inquirer and featuring Jewish Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY.).  You are then invited to stay at the JCC to watch the third presidential debate.

Thursday, October 14th, 6 p.m. – NJDC Debate at Muhlenberg Hillel
